Saito FA 100. Valve Spring Replacement, Service And Test Runs
This engine belongs to a friend at our club. It needed a service and bearing change. During disassembly, I noticed that the exhaust valve spring was damaged which looked like it was caused by overheating. I replaced the valve spring, the bearings and some of the o rings, and all the gaskets. The valves themselves are perfect and the engine has very good compression. The engine was tested on fuel with 15% nitro and runs very well. Sorry for the bad recording sound during the test runs. The microphone started to give problems.
