Those familiar with the industry know this, but PSA Japan's appraisal standards are rumored to be about one level stricter than those in the US. I thought something was a little off with my last submission, but it's clearly gotten stricter this time. 😱 I get my cards appraised almost every month, but this time, a lot of the cards I expected to get a 9-10 got 8-9. Even cards I was confident would get a 10 with this level of damage got a 9. 😭 Their appraisals are just as strict as ARS appraisals...
