He's been a character that you guys have been requesting for a while, so we thought it was time to give the people what they want! Tidus acts the focal point for much of Final Fantasy X, and although he does have a more limited role within Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy X-2.5 and Final Fantasy X Will, he still features and it therefore means that his story is rather extensive - perhaps moreso than any other character in the franchise. It means we'll be talking about Dream Zanarkand and Tidus' conception, through to his relationship with Jecht, Auron and of course, Yuna.
