Surgical Hubs - an answer to tackling elective care waiting times

In just four months Vanguard Healthcare Solutions has designed, developed, and delivered a modular surgical hub to assist Queen Mary's Hospital, St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, located in southwest London to substantially increase capacity. This additional facility is vital to deliver elective care procedures and ultimately reduce the waiting list backlog. Situated on one of the hospital car parks, a surgical hub complex has been created including 4 operating theatres and all of the associated support areas to provide safe patient care. The construction of the premanufactured units only started in March and started receiving patients in June.
