Based upon the compact 2-door Fiat 600, it was tuned by Abarth for races. The muscular form had front and rear over fenders, a large radiator cover integrated with the front bumper, and horizontally-opened engine hood. A 982cc inline-4 engine capable of over 110hp underpinned its powerful performance. This R/C model assembly kit depicts the small but mighty silhouette of the car elegantly using a polycarbonate body and plenty of separately molded plastic parts, the whole package being based upon the new MB-01 chassis. ★Take a look at the model from another angle, showing off the small yet perfectly formed Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR Berlina Corse. ★Highlights on the front include a depiction of the chunky radiator/oil cooler, and metal-plated headlight rims. ★Separately molded parts are used for the side mirrors, while windshield wipers are a sticker. ★A rather unusual sight at the rear: the opened hood, which is also a separately molded part with its props. ★The model also depicts parts of the engine for a super realistic look. ★Silver color wheels are paired with front 55mm and 60mm radial rear tires. The MB-01 Chassis The compact, 2WD MB-01 chassis gives a choice of three types of wheelbase, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. This model employs a midship motor, rear-wheel drive setup. Without removing battery pack, motor and R/C equipment setups from the center frame, simply change attachment directions of final gears and steering linkage to switch between front- and rear-wheel drive; low or high motor position can be chosen for rear-wheel drive cars. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features symmetrical structure and friction dampers. Unitized sections such as motor mount, final gears and suspension facilitate ease of assembly and effective maintenance. ★The compact MB-01 chassis. For this model, it is assembled with a short wheelbase: 210mm. ★The servo is installed in the right-rear of the model, and moves the steering linkage via a link rod. ★The four-wheel double wishbone suspension uses symmetrical arms. ★Coil sprung dampers come as standard, although you can upgrade them with M-Chassis aluminum dampers if you wish. ★The motor mount is assembled as a unit, and secured to the chassis using two screws. ★The 4-bevel gear differential is the same as that on the TT-02; this chassis is compatible with TT-02 Hop-Up Option differentials. ★Left: The flip-up battery holder gives quick access. ★Right: Rear double wishbone suspension gives a stable drive. ★Left: Suspension elements are also unitized to help with pit and repair work. ★Right: This versatile chassis can be assembled into three wheelbases and two drivetrain layouts.
