I dug up a Gopher tunnel so you can see what goes on underground and learn the tricks and tips of successful trapping. I don't take trapping them lightly, so please understand that before leaving any harsh comments. Please only trap after careful consideration -- consideration of the animal, that it could suffer and consideration of your mental state, knowing that : you could see that suffering, see blood and guts and have to live with what you have done. BUT PLEASE don't use poisons. These poisons, rodenticides, are killing wildlife such as raptors, scavenging mammals and pets when they find and eat the carcasses. So in your attempt to 'avoid' the harsh and sad nature of this, you are contributing to a huge problem in our world. Consider also, that these poisons don't kill immediately. The Gopher or rat you poisoned could wander over to your neighbors property, where it dies and their dog or cat eats it and dies. So trap if you must, only trap...it is actually the most humane method. Thank you, I will now dismount my soapbox.
