Sebakwe Goes Splashing While the Elephants Welcome Winter 💦🐘

Three members of the Big Five in one frame, a joyful Sebakwe swim, and a golden bushveld slowly settling into winter 🐘🌿 In this collection of moments captured by carers Last and Owen, the Jabulani Herd moves through another ordinary, yet extraordinary day in the Greater Kruger landscape. It begins with elephants, buffalo, and rhino sharing the same space, a reminder of the incredible wildlife that calls this ecosystem home. Later, Sebakwe throws himself into a swim with his usual enthusiasm, with Mambo joining briefly before deciding to give the dominant bull plenty of room to enjoy himself. As the cooler weather arrives, the herd is choosing simple drinks at the waterhole over long swims, while Tokwe, Fishan, Lundi, and the younger elephants spend time grazing together among the last of the green bush before winter paints everything gold. The day ends as it always should, with the herd heading home together beneath a beautiful African sunset.
