German Twisted Cast On and how to seamlessly join it for working in the round

In this video, I will teach you German Twisted Cast On. This is my preferred method of casting on because it creates an elastic but firm edge. It will be great for socks, mittens, gloves, cowls, shawls, sweaters, etc. This method has many names - Twisted German Cast On, Elastic Cast On, Elastic Long-Tail Cast On, Old Norwegian Cast On, Old Norwegian Sock Cast On, English Cast On, Twisted Half-Hitch Cast On, and Twisted Loop Cast On. Remember to cast on one additional stitch to what is in the pattern to be able to seamlessly join the work in the round.
