In the first reservoir, the bass seemed to have completely vanished. We spent hours searching, moving from one spot to another, and only got one bite between the three of us 😅. The rising water levels have been terrible for them! We didn't give up and went to the second reservoir. Things improved a bit there, although it wasn't easy either: the bass were present, they were more active, but they were still very selective. Every bite made us hold our breath, and every catch felt like a reward after a hard day. This day made it clear to us that rising reservoir levels completely change the fishing dynamics. There are times when they seem invisible, and others when a single movement can make them suddenly appear. Patience, observation, and intuition were key to not returning empty-handed.
