Fresh Dijon Mustard recipe

Mild Dijon Mustard INGREDIENTS 1 tbsp brown mustard seeds* 5 tbsp yellow mustard seeds* ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar ¼ cup white wine (dry is better) 1 large garlic clove, pressed 2 tbsp minced shallot ½ tsp salt 1 tbsp honey INSTRUCTIONS 1. In a small bowl or jar combine the mustard seeds, vinegar, wine, garlic, shallot, salt and honey. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours up to overnight. 2. Add the mixture to a food processor or blender and puree. 3. Store in a container with a tight seal. Notes *If you like a spicier dijon, use 2 tbsp brown seeds and 4 yellow instead! *This can last for a couple of months. When it gets darker, looks dry or splits it’s time to let it go. *Water can substitute for the wine.
