It was founded by Dmitry Selivanov and broke up after his death. ABOUT ALBUM: «"Love and Technology" is not just one of the finest examples of industrial post-punk in human history. This disc will easily plug the majority of British (as well as American and German) classics of the genre. Of course, when it comes to the music of Dmitry Selivanov, the first association that comes to mind is Ian Curtis and his gloomy "Entertainment Division". And not only because their lives ended according to frighteningly similar scenarios (and both, who were left without the leaders of the group, whether it’s a coincidence or not, did not disintegrate, changed their names and, noticeably softening their attitude to life and art, began to play something completely other). "Love and Technology" is not just a "worthy response" to the whole British post-punk wave. This is a self-sufficient phenomenon, in terms of level comparable to the monolithic masterpieces of Curtis's comrades, and in terms of mood it is very similar to him. Only if a British singer of a frozen heart often has phlegmatic detachment replaced by hysterical bouts of reflection, in a Soviet singer of an inflamed mind, it is interrupted by bursts of poisonous sarcasm, which is already saturated with every word. And, of course, this is due not only to social factors. Acquaintance with the work of such groups as INDUSTRIAL ARCHITECTURE both then and especially now is complicated not only by their relative inaccessibility and little-knownness, but also by the reluctance of many seeking something new in art to wade through the wall of "dirty" sound and cassette quality to the endless beauty behind them and complexity, as well as the unwillingness to hear in compositional naivety a special and now forever lost charm. And very, very in vain. The album "Love and Technology" still remains at an unattainable height, and now it is difficult to imagine that someday this situation will be able to change».
