Lister Star Strip Down
Lister Star horse clippers are a commonly seen clipper that I come across regularly. While they are not my preferred choice for horse clippers, as they are more of a trimmer, many people still appreciate them. In this video, I encounter a set of horse clippers that suddenly stopped working in the middle of a clip - definitely not a good situation! Fortunately, it seems to be a simple case of the thermofuse tripping. However, this could indicate potential underlying issues as thermofuses usually trip for a reason. The video demonstrates how I split the clipper case in half, handle the troublesome label under the switch, remove the PCB, and take out the motor. Stay tuned for part 2, where I will show you how I reassemble these horse clippers. This video is for information and not an instructional video. No liability can be excepted if you harm yourself or others or damage your horse clippers. To have your horse clippers professionally serviced visit www.oaksidesaddlery.co.uk
