Limehouse Blues -- Teddy Wilson & DSC 1972
Limehouse Blues -- Teddy Wilson & DSC 1972 Probably the best and most famous jazz band from the Netherlands was ( and still is) the Dutch Swing College Band. They started in 1945 and through all these years have travelled worldwide and played and recorded with the top jazz musicians. In 1972 and 1973 pianist Teddy Wilson played with the DSC on many occasions. Her is a sample in a studio session where they play some free wheeling swing jazz. Together with Wilson are leader Peter Schilperoort ten.sax, Bob Kaper clarinet, Bert de Kort cornet, Dickie Kaart trombone, Arie Ligthart banjo, Henk bosch van Drakestein bass and Huub Janssen drums.
