Jimmy from Solomon Islands

Jimmy from Solomon Islands has earned a reputation as one of PB Agrifood’s* most productive and enthusiastic workers. While Jimmy has a hearing impairment, this has not been a barrier for him – in fact he is thriving in his workplace. Recently PB Agrifood and Labour Solutions Australia have worked together with health insurance provider NIB to cover the cost of hearing aids for Jimmy. Within a few months he was fitted with the small but life-changing devices. *PALM scheme workers at PB Agrifood are recruited, trained and employed through PALM scheme employer, Labour Solutions Australia.
