ESSAI COMPLET SUR LE TERRAIN, LE TOP DE LA TONDEUSE ROBOT, UN CONCENTRÉ DE NOUVELLES TECHNOLOGIES
In September 2023, NewsJardinTV introduced you to one of the very first robotic lawnmowers operating wirelessly and equipped with AI: the Worx Landroid Vision: • ESSAI COMPLET : TONDEUSE ROBOT SANS CÂBLE ... Three years later, new technologies have been developed and integrated into a new range of 8 machines: the Worx Landroid Vision Cloud, even more reliable and efficient. NewsJardinTV's editor-in-chief, Patrick Mioulane, who conducted the previous review, invites you to discover this latest generation of robotic lawnmowers in detail. The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud is designed for installation without the need for a professional, as the entire setup process is detailed with extreme precision in the "Works Landroid" app. The only essential requirement is Wi-Fi, the network that allows different devices to connect to a computer network via radio waves so they can exchange data. The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud comes in a box containing all the necessary components for installation: the mower, charging station, battery, power cable, and a detailed instruction manual that outlines each step. It is very important to install the charging station in the area of your property that receives the best Wi-Fi signal. However, it is not necessary for the signal to be strong throughout the entire garden. Choose a location that is as level as possible for the charging station. The station consists of a base that is secured in the ground using long screws (included) and the electrical components that allow the mower to recharge. Once the station is connected to the network, a green LED will light up. It is then time to place the mower on its base to charge, remembering to insert the battery. A compartment is provided for this purpose, and note that Worx offers a whole range of tools that can operate with this same battery. To start the mower, press and hold the start button on the cover for 5 seconds. The screen will display 0000, which is the default code, but you can, of course, customize it. Download the "Worx Landroid" app to your smartphone, as it will be used to program the mower in detail. The connection between your phone and the robot is established after scanning the QR code located under the battery compartment cover. It's then time to start the robot mapping your garden. This is done automatically (manual mode is also available) and with high precision thanks to the machine's connection to a constellation of satellites via the RTK (Real Time Kinematic) system, which allows for geolocation with an accuracy of 1 to 2 cm. Antennas are installed throughout the country at Positec Group dealerships. This is a proprietary RTK network (free for life, no subscription required), and each mower has an integrated receiver. A dual-lens 4K camera is assisted by AI that enables object recognition and environmental understanding. As it moves, the machine takes thousands of photos, which it analyzes in real time (comparing them to the 20 million images in its database) and assimilates, allowing it to navigate around obstacles. The cutting system is a floating deck equipped with three articulated razor blades, guaranteeing excellent cutting quality (maximum grass height: 10 cm). A unique feature of these robots is a second cutting unit positioned laterally and protected by a guard, enabling close-to-edge mowing. The cutting height can be adjusted to the millimeter via the app, simply by sliding a cursor with your fingertip. The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud can be considered an intelligent machine because it also uses V-SLAM, an image-based mapping system that allows it to "visualize" the garden's layout in 3D and therefore locate itself, even when satellite signals are weak (for example, under trees). Just as we were impressed in the field, you should be won over by this new generation of robots. We hope you found this video interesting and enjoyed it.
