Wilton 3 axis vise, smashed and repair using "Cold method" Part-1
A Wilton vise smashed... After gettting help to carry my new purchassed Wilton 3 axis vise, the vise ended landing abruptly on the concrete floor, breaking one of the sliding arch, bummer... After thinking along many scenarios on how to fix this, I came to the conclusion of a Cold Type repair was gonna be the solution to help keep the cosmetics in good shape and that it will be solid enough to go back to work as nothing happenned... In this part one, I'm preparing the vise and getting my act together for the final repair, in the next episode we'll see the replacement material being installed and sheped in the rotary table to a seemless repair. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil’s Projects / phildesjardins1 Thank you for watching and I hope you like this type of video… Since those videos are requiring lots of time and efforts a Thumbs up, a comment and even better a subscription is always a great way to say you appreciate the efforts I put in the making of those videos… 😉 Pierre Beaudry [email protected]
