A week in Lapland, far from the usual tourist activities, in a secluded cabin on the shores of a frozen lake… ❄️ I was invited by Allibert Trekking to experience a more authentic side of Finnish Lapland, in a small group of eight people, at nature's pace. Hiking in Oulanka and Riisitunturi National Parks, fat biking on snow, a traditional sauna, watching the Northern Lights… a week of total disconnection in a still largely untouched environment. In this vlog, I'll take you on a journey to discover a slower, wilder Lapland, far removed from the overly touristy image we sometimes have of it. An immersion in taiga, tundra, frozen lakes, and snow-covered forests, with a more human approach to travel.
