Stay in your lane: The Lane Keeping Assist system detects lane markings and warns you if you unintentionally leave your lane – at speeds above 65 km/h (50 mph). If the vehicle threatens to drift out of its lane, you will be warned by a corrective steering intervention and a steering wheel vibration. If you do not react for an extended period, the Emergency Assist system may be activated. Unlike Lane Guidance, however, Lane Keeping Assist does not actively keep your vehicle centered in the lane. You can adjust or deactivate the warning in the Driver Assistance menu. Please note that due to legal regulations, the function reactivates automatically every time the vehicle is started.
