Di Bivar Castle was conceived and built inspired by medieval films. The castle gained national prominence after serving as the setting for the film "The Man Who Defied the Devil" (2007), a classic of Brazilian cinema. One of the film's most memorable scenes takes place in the castle: the confrontation between Ojuara (Marcos Palmeira) and the fearsome Mãe de Pantanha (Flávia Alessandra).
