TOP SIGHTS OF BUENOS AIRES! OBELISK, PLAZA DE MAYO & SAN TELMO MARKETS! In this video we head straight out to explore the top sites of Buenos Aires in our first full day of exploring this new city and country! We start at the famous BA sign and Obelisk before walking to Plaza De Mayo to check out the famous Casa Rosada (pink building) or presidential palace where the president Juan Peron and his wife Eva Peron more famously known worldwide as ‘Evita’ gave their famous speeches to thousands of impassioned working class citizens. We wander around this famous square and take a look at some of the history and buildings before heading off to the Sunday Feira (Sunday fair) which fills the streets of San Telmo every Sunday with hundreds of stalls, dancers and street performers. We also wanted to make our way inside the famous San Telmo Markets but with limited internet usage and limited Spanish language skills we found it difficult to navigate our way around these little streets but eventually found the entrance and all the amazing food choices within it. It was totally worth all the walking around in the heat to find this place, it was huge inside and filled with everything Argentinian! Upcoming Videos!
