Shou sugi ban 2 (焼杉板) Ash bowl with inlay - Woodturning

In this woodturning project I work on creating another Shou sugi ban (焼杉板) Ash coloured bowl this time with a resin inlay. Shou sugi ban (shousugiban) is the art of burning wood to help preserve it from the elements. This woodturning channel, explores the uses of wood when combined with resin, epoxy, to make woodturning projects, that are easy and can be classed as art. A lot of the wood turning projects I make can be completed by the beginner through to the more experienced wood turner.
