We were sat with the Middlesbrough fans in the upper tier of the West Stand. However, a red card for Hackney sent Boro down to 10 men after just 22 minutes. Just before half-time, Bobby Thomas headed Coventry into the lead. The teams went in at half-time with Coventry leading 1-0. Two goals in the second half from Haji Wright and another from Josh Eccles gave Coventry a 3-goal lead. They held on and took the 3 points home to the Midlands to climb to 13th in the Championship. Great support from both sets of fans... The Coventry fans were particularly vocal after scoring and had a great post match celebration with the players.
