Everglades City | Boating Ten Thousand Islands | Gheenoe LT25

We took a last minute trip down to Everglades City with our Gheenoe. The only option for a hotel was at Captains Table Resort. We didn't have high expectations for the hotel but it ended up being quite nice and exactly what we needed. We explored the cute down of Everglades City. The next day we launched the boat from the Everglades City Marina and made out way down the canal to the Ten Thousand Islands area. This was our first time here so we played it safe and stayed pretty close to a main channel. We didn't catch much fish, but that wasn't really our main focus.
