Alberta Prairie Steam Excursion at Stettler, AB

Alberta Prairie's 1920-built Baldwin 2-8-0 #41 leads a southbound excursion train past Warden and into Big Valley, AB on Aug 3, 2025. The volunteers have done an excellent job of restoring the former Canadian Northern depot at Big Valley- definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Also on property is former Canadian National Mountain 4-6-2 #6060 built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1944.
