Genipabu Beach, Extremoz-RN, Rio Grande do Norte The history of Genipabu, in Extremoz (RN), is linked to indigenous occupation and the founding of the village of Extremoz. Originally inhabited by Tupi and Paiacu Indians, the area was donated to the Jesuits in 1607, who built the Church of São Miguel, but were expelled in 1757 during Dutch invasions.
