🏛️ Representative Graciela Palomares Ramírez urged an amendment to the Animal Welfare Law to create an administrative registry of individuals formally sanctioned for animal abuse. 🐾 The proposal aims to strengthen animal protection efforts and establish a mechanism to track those sanctioned under current legislation. ⚖️ Separately, Representative Jaime Aurioles Barroeta introduced a bill to establish penalties of *up to five years in prison* for neglect of minors in the state of Puebla. 👧 The proposal seeks to reinforce the protection of children and adolescents by penalizing the failure to fulfill caregiving duties when it jeopardizes their well-being.
