Bouvier's return to take the reins of the category was the key to its resurgence, with the support of Renault, Elf, and a promoter who made a strong commitment: Alcídes Raies. But health problems forced the television promoter to leave, changing timing and priorities, and the school category became a business that slowly consumed it.
