I Built My Own AI Nutrition Coach

If you’re stuck in day-to-day tasks, hire an EA so you can focus on growth: https://go.paretotalent.com/ I run a $250K/month business from Uruguay. Last week I trained 700 people for free over 10 days. This week I slowed down on purpose — and built two AI tools instead. The first one is an AI nutrition coach I built for myself. I send it photos of what I eat. It reads the ingredients, calculates protein/carbs/fat, tells me what to buy next, and structures my workouts around the data from my Somi smart weight and Garmin watch. Built in an afternoon. The second one is a "second brain" — a Google Drive folder + Obsidian + Claude Code setup that reads my Gmail, Slack, calendar, and to-do list and surfaces the three things I actually need to push every morning. It's the system I'm building to replace the constant context-switching that kills my focus. In between: I'm still reviewing 300 final projects from the last bootcamp (I'm the only one who reviews them), I drink a lot of mate (Uruguay's national drink — I explain the ritual), and I'm trying to wake up at 6:45 AM so I can actually get to the gym. This week's thesis: less hustle, more purpose. The AI does the heavy lifting so I get to be here with my family. ⏱ Chapters 0:00 — Why I'm slowing down after a 700-person bootcamp 0:30 — The entrepreneur-dad gym problem 2:00 — Building my own AI nutrition coach 5:00 — Reviewing 300 final projects from the bootcamp 6:00 — What mate actually is (and why Uruguayans drink it everywhere) 8:30 — Building my Second Brain with Claude Code 10:00 — Why I'm doing all of this: family time ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ About me I’m Ivan Bunin. I didn’t start as a founder. I started at $1K a month as an executive assistant, responsible for the details that keep a business running: managing inboxes, calendars, client communication, and making sure nothing fell through the cracks. Over time, I helped scale a fast-growing agency through an 8-figure exit. And then I co-founded Pareto Talent, which we grew from $0 to $1M in a year, not by grinding harder, but by building systems and turning executive assistants into real leverage for founders. This channel isn’t polished advice. It’s the real entrepreneur journey. The pressure. The long days. The bottlenecks. The small decisions that can have a huge impact. The moments where I realize I’m the constraint, and have to rebuild the system around me. If you’re building something real and you’re tired of surface-level business content, you’re in the right place. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Connect with me LinkedIn:   / 4bunin   TikTok:   / ea2ceo   Facebook:   / 4bunin   Instagram:   / 4bunin
