A farmer from the Ștefan Vodă district is implementing new technologies in agriculture and abandoning traditional picking in favor of mechanized picking. The method is being put into practice for the first time in the southeast of the country, and the process is several times faster than traditional picking. In the first year of fruiting, the farmer manages to collect up to 6 tons of sour cherries per hectare.
