Clothes and shoes: appropriate for the type of work and environment. Respirator: with filters appropriate for the potential hazard. Goggles: to protect eyes from flying particles. Face shields: if impacts can burn, injure or infect the face. Welding glasses or shields: to protect eyes from welding arcs Earmuffs or ear plugs: when using power tools or any equipment exceeding 60 db. Lifeline and harness: when working at hights.
