The life and times of squabs (aka baby pigeons)
Why don't we ever see baby pigeons? That's a pretty common question on the internet. And we're here to answer it, thanks to the decision of a pigeon pair to raise their chicks (aka squabs) on our balcony. For over a month, we documented the cycle of life of urban pigeons, from the egg, to hatching, to growing up and yes, even to the end of life. Follow us on this journey as we learn to share our balcony with other living creatures. We may not always see it this way because they're so common, but pigeons definitely count as urban wildlife. And we're going to have to learn how to live together with these fellow living beings, whether we like it or not.
