The Rangers receive new Ninja Power Coins and Ninja Zords from Ninjor. Rita and Lord Zedd marry and unite their evil forces. Katherine "Kat" Hillard is manipulated by Rita but later frees herself and replaces Kimberly as the Pink Ranger after Kimberly leaves the team to pursue a gymnastics career. The Rangers battle Master Vile, Rita's father, who seeks the Zeo Crystal. At the end of the season, Master Vile destroys the Zeo Crystal and turns the Rangers into children, leading to the miniseries "Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers." Finally I was able to finish the intro to the third season. As is well known, this is my favorite in the Mighty Morphin Saga. I'm curious what the rumors about the reboot plans will bring.
