CAFS stands for compressed air foam system. In a raging fire, there isn't always an open path for our Air Striker. In these situations, the engineering team has been outfitting a Can-Am XT HD 9 all-terrain vehicle with a CAFS unit. Generating massive amounts of foam over a great distance, this smaller is be able to cover a structure in minutes, protecting it.
