Diplomacy and International Relations Masterclass with Sir Tim Hitchens
The event will take place in the Leonard Wolfson Auditorium (LWA) at Wolfson College Oxford, on May 26th 2022. We have never needed diplomacy and good international relations as much as we do now. The immediate challenges of the Ukraine war and the existential challenges of climate change require the most effective international collaboration. Paulo de Souza will be talking to Wolfson President Sir Tim Hitchens about his 35 years’ experience as a professional diplomat, and the importance of diplomacy to avoid conflict. Please join us for a masterclass and a chance to explore the role of diplomacy in helping resolve some of the world’s most pressing issues. Sir Tim Hitchens, Wolfson's president, will explore some questions on the topic of diplomacy and international relations, firstly in a conversation with the chair of the college's Green Team, Paulo de Souza, and then with the audience.
