Bern🇨🇭Aare River / Is It Dangerous⁉️Rafting / Summer activities in Bern / Swimming in Switzerland

Go on a beautiful rafting trip in the clear waters of the Aare river, either from Thun to Bern or from Worblaufen to Wohlensee. This rafting trip is perfect for a relaxing and fun outing with family or friends! You won't need anything other than a few friends to participate, a raft, a paddle and a life jacket. Keep your belongings dry in a waterproof bag while paddling down the Aare River! It's so simple that you have no reason not to try this experience! Inform yourself about the route and features of the track. You will have the choice of rafting on the upper Aar (Thun-Bern, 3 hours) or the lower Aar (Worblaufen-Wohlensee, 2.5 hours). Take your time and enjoy a riverside picnic during the day and take a break to swim in the water and cool off. 🚣🏻You start in Uttigen near Thun near the Uttigen train station and get off at the Eichholz campsite near Bern. OK. 2-3 hours on the water (without breaks). ‼️But attention! The river in Bern looks harmless, and yet it is a mountain river and you should not forget about it. On the way you may encounter whirlpools and rapids, you need to be a very confident swimmer and have enough experience. Therefore, it is advisable to start in a pair or in a group with experienced people. Every year the river demands a "tribute" in the form of human lives. Often too self-confident swimmers set off and, without calculating their strength, even die.
