Pat’s Blue Ribbon 5.13-
This is a short climbing video about my first 5.13 finger crack in Indian Creek, Utah I did post wrist surgery this spring. I had a pretty intensive surgery in mid February 2022 and was cleared for thin rock climbing in May 2022 which is when this video takes place. It was really meaningful to resume climbing again and attempt to come back stronger and fitter than I was while I was dealing with my injury. Pat’s Blue Ribbon is A steep 5.13- finger splitter that begins with a small roof, changes cracks at a fracture in the face, and has a thin crux sequence from the pod to the arete. Thank you for the belay Bernie DiCaprio aka Sketchy Bernie. Thank you for capturing this video Spencer McKay, putting together this climbing short, supporting me at the chains when I sent, and of course making me climb it right again my send so you could get another angle. You are merciless. First Ascent: Patrick Kingsbury Sponsors: Rope: My Tendon Hattrick 10.2 Blue #womentradclimbing #crackclimbing #tradprincess #indiancreek #tradclimbing #girlsgonewide
