Cabourg, du côté de l'amour

This February 14th, Valentine's Day, Cabourg was voted "the most romantic town in France." A fitting recognition for this former fishing village where, over a century ago, Marcel Proust came every summer to nurse his fragile health. It was in the Grand Hotel located on the seafront promenade that now bears his name that the author began his life's work: "In Search of Lost Time."
