Tutorial by Aleksander Evening. I record in Ableton. Piano sound is from the VST ‘Noire Piano’ Visuals in Seemusic Edited in Davinci Resolve Lord of the Rings: The Complete Piano Album 10/12 It is finally here! My Mordor cover! I've been wanting to play these themes on the piano for so long, and it is now done! I mixed so many pieces together it was such a challenge! It was also very important for me to tell the story of the ring's destruction, so that's why the ending of this arrangement is the ending of the ring itself, and therefore the ending of the adventure. I know my cover is really intense, and I hope you enjoy it as it is! The Nazgûl theme is one of my favourite so I decided to play it many many times, with a different base each time to create some change. I also noticed something quite interesting, I don't know if it's just me, but I realized that the small motif we hear when Frodo and Sam stand outside Mount Doom, and Frodo says 'it's done, it's gone' it is the same motif then when Gandalf falls, only in a different key. I thought it was a fun thing, either it being a coincidence or Shore's genius, as if this motif is to represent loss. Anyway, maybe I'm thinking too much about this, but I found it interesting.
