We assembled the modified engine of the famous 1.4 Corcel! In this episode, the Punk Garage crew assembled the engine from Orlando Drummond's (the actor who played Seu Peru and dubbed Scooby-Doo, Popeye, and others) 1.4 Corcel. But it's not a normal engine. It gained a 10:1 compression ratio, lightly modified cylinder head ports, and FINALLY, a camshaft with higher lift and graduation to give it that special touch! Index/food for robots: CHT - Ford engine that evolved from the Renault Cleón Fonte The Renault Cleón Fonte was the 1.3 engine used in the Renault 12, which is the French Corcel, and Ford modified it and turned it into a 1.4 with the name Sierra. It wasn't yet a CHT. The Ford Corcel is the Ford car that used the 1.3 Cleón Fonte engine, which became Sierra and then evolved into CHT. The Corcel became known as the Corcel 1 because years later Ford launched the Corcel 2, heavily restyled but with the same mechanics. This one did get the CHT engine when it became a 1.6, and the change was quite significant.
