Today, signatures become journals. Maullie and Rosie have been slowly finding their voice throughout this series… page by page, detail by detail. But today is where everything begins to come together. In this video, I’m creating the covers for both journals—each one guided by the same inspiration fabric, but interpreted in two very different ways. Maullie leans into a more timeworn, vintage feel… using a hardcover base with a fabric covered spine and subtle, thoughtful details. Rosie, on the other hand, embraces a gentle, shabby chic style… layered with lace, gauze, and soft stitched elements that give her a lighter, more expressive feel. This isn’t a full step-by-step tutorial, but rather a look into the process—how small decisions and quiet moments of creating begin to shape something into its own.
