Daniel Sánchez Arévalo's new film, starring Javier Gutiérrez, María Vázquez, Judith Fernández, Tamar Novas, and Carlos Blanco, also features Fer Fraga, Xosé A. Touriñán, Marta Larralde, and young Lola López Rodríguez. Rondallas will be released in theaters on January 1, 2026. SYNOPSIS: Two years after the tragic sinking of a fishing boat that shook a small Galician fishing village, the villagers decide it's time to rekindle their hope and put their grief behind them. They reunite to revive the rondalla, a traditional music group that includes everyone from children to the elderly, with the intention of competing in a contest against neighboring villages, but above all, to start looking to the future once again.
