Jerry Douglas - Route Irish - performed on my Beard Jerry Douglas Blackbeard #142 - 9.5.2023

This is an incredible performance, and there is a story behind it. Jerry opened for John McLaughlin and Shakti in Portland, OR tonight (9/5/2023). His guitar did not arrive with him and he reached out to me as a possible backup when he learned I had one of his signature Beard Guitars. His guitar did arrive today, but he invited me to come down anyway and would switch out for a song if I wanted to hear my guitar "in this setting". What was I going to say? YES! Jerry is truly a fine gentleman and a beacon of positivity. I am so thrilled and grateful for the opportunity and the hospitality Jerry showed me and my wife.
