Lanzarote Canary Islands Day 2 🌞 Today, we’re taking you through the sights, tastes, and experiences as we explore the beautiful surroundings of Playa Blanca and Marina Rubicon. Breakfast at Sandos Papagayo: We start the day with breakfast at our all-inclusive resort, Sandos Papagayo. While the selection is pretty good, I found it disappointing that it didn’t change from day to day—so keep that in mind if you're staying for a while. Seafront Walk to Marina Rubicon: After breakfast, we take a leisurely walk along the seafront promenade to Marina Rubicon—a beautiful 15-minute stroll that takes you right along the ocean. 🌊 Exploring Marina Rubicon: Livvo Volcán Lanzarote: Along the way, we sneak a peek at the back of the Livvo Volcán Lanzarote, a stunning 5-star resort. Waterfront Treats: At Marina Rubicon, we stop for some ice cream by the waterfront—perfect on a warm day! 🍦 Oasis Bar: We also come across the newly renovated Oasis Bar, complete with a massive pool. It’s looking great for anyone wanting a chic place to relax. Marina Rubicon Shopping Centre: We then head into the Marina Rubicon Shopping Centre for a quick look at what’s on offer. Barceló Playa Blanca: Next up, we check out the Barceló Playa Blanca, a massive new resort in the area. The kids enjoyed playing on the playground in front of the resort while we took in the sights. Finishing the Day: We ended our day just in time, taking cover in our hotel from the pouring rain—lucky for us! 🌧️ It was a relaxed day full of lovely walks, sneaky peeks at luxury resorts, and a bit of shopping.
