When I called then it was because the washer would do nothing but drain. I could not choose another wash cycle. This last time I had to call because the washer would not drain. Aaarrgghh frustrating. Again I could not choose another wash cycle since any I chose would just pump more water into the machine that would not drain. Eventually I would reach maximum capacity and hit overflow. This time the same repair tech came out (he handles GE manufacture warranty and Geek Squad warranty) and replaced the pump. He tells me that they are not known for lasting a long time...thank goodness for the Geek Squad warranty. We are covered with Geek Squad for 5 years. I have a feeling I am going to be needing to access warranty service a lot more over the years - at least for the washer.
