I NEARLY GAVE UP: The Secret Bothy Hidden by Miles of Bogs

They say "adventure is just bad planning with a positive attitude." Well, my attitude is currently somewhere under six inches of freezing bog water, and my dog is 100% considering calling animal services on me. In this episode, I decide that a warm sofa and a radiator are far too mainstream. Instead, I choose to walk face-first into stinging hail and gale-force winds to find a stone hut in the middle of nowhere. Inside this freezing (but cozy) madness: The Great Swamp Trek: Miles of boggy wilderness. Is it a path? Is it a lake? Is it a trap? Tent vs. Wind: A high-stakes wrestling match where I try to set up camp without being blown into the lake. Dog Management: Keeping the doggo warm, fed, and convinced that I haven't actually lost my mind. Gourmet (ish) Dining: Cooking a hot meal while my fingers are basically frozen fish sticks. The Payoff: Finally getting a log fire going and achieving "peak cozy" while the wind howls outside. Don’t forget to hit Like and Subscribe if you enjoy watching people suffer for "fun"! 🏔️🔥 Gear used: * A very sturdy raincoat Waterproof boots (that eventually gave up) A dog with zero respect for my navigational skills Massive amounts of coffee #solo #winter #survival #camping #alone #dog
