6x17 Film Photography in Eastern Washington with the Chroma Six17 Graflok Back
Join me on an excursion into the otherworldly landscapes of Eastern Washington to test a new piece of gear: the Chroma Camera 6x17 panoramic roll film back on my Intrepid 4x5 camera. We'll be shooting the stunning basalt cliffs of Dry Falls, the golden wheat fields of the Palisades region, and the beautiful scenes along the way. I'll share my first impressions of the back, discuss some of the challenges of shooting in the field, and show the final results from the trip. What you'll find in this video: My candid impressions of the Chroma 6x17 panoramic back. The ups and downs of photography in the field on a weekend trip. Breathtaking landscape photography from Eastern Washington. A look at the final images from the trip on Velvia, Ektar, and Portra medium and large format film.
