Guilty Gear X2 - Suck a Sage (remix)

Yeah, I know it's been forever. All I can say is I'm sorry, I just haven't had the time or the energy to spare. I had a lot of difficulty deciding between the original Suck a Sage, this one, and just doing my own thing. I ended up with a bit of a mix between the latter decision and the X2 theme, and honestly? I really like the result. NO RAGRETS. Also dusted off my old Ripper Direct guitar for some hella slides and palm mutes and it sounds fuckin' cool as shit. I really need to use this thing more often instead of letting it be part of my previously purchased library graveyard 'cause it's really a blast to use and it blends very well with the v-metal lead. Also ironically I thought this thing sounded funny during the end solo but couldn't figure out why until I made this video - it's the bass channel doing some weird pitch automation that I dunno why it's even there.
