If vocal nodules are left untreated, vocal changes in a child can lead to loud or swearing habits. This can lead to aggressive behavior and negatively impact emotional development, so it's recommended to seek medical attention and receive appropriate treatment. Parents should encourage their children to drink plenty of water to prevent vocal cord dryness and avoid prolonged or loud speech.
