Welcome to the South Shields Interchange - a new £21m transport hub in the heart of the town that brings together a modern bus and Metro station, as part of South Tyneside Council's 365 regeneration masterplan. Over 7.5m passengers are expected to pass through the interchange each year. The South Shields Interchange was delivered by Muse for South Tyneside Council, in partnership with Nexus, Bowmer & Kirkland, The Harris Partnership, and sister company, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure.
