Malaysia ROAD TRIP Series | Ipoh & Penang (Ep-2) 🛵🌧️

The road trip continues! 🛵💨 After two amazing days enjoying the freezing, beautiful climate of the Cameron Highlands, it’s time to hit the highway again. Today, I’m riding 250KM (a 4-hour journey!) to the ultimate food capital of Malaysia: Penang! But the journey had a few surprises waiting for me... 🌧️ Halfway through the ride, I stopped in Ipoh for lunch at a famous Kedai Makanan (Chinese restaurant). I tried their incredible Loh Mai Kai (glutinous rice with chicken) and drank the legendary Ipoh White Coffee—wait until you hear the history behind this iconic drink! ☕ After getting caught in a massive Malaysian downpour, I finally reached Penang and checked into Amore Stays. It's super affordable, very clean, and located right inside a mall! Nighttime in Penang was a rainy washout (all the food stalls were closed!), so your boy had to survive on 7-Eleven chicken and pizza buns! 😂🍕 The next morning totally made up for it. I visited the 298-year-old Goddess of Mercy Temple, which was my very first time exploring Chinese temple traditions and culture. 🙏 Then, I headed to the Sri Weld Food Court for the ultimate local breakfast: the famous Ali Nasi Lemak (a MUST try!) paired with Penang's unique local Nutmeg drink. 🤤 To top it all off, I randomly met a local Malaysian-Telugu guy who shared some amazing insider info about the area.
